RIDE FOR LIFE
The 2011 Ride for Life was held on Sunday 23 October 2011, once again in perfect weather. About 30 of David's friends and family rode along the Gardiner's Creek bike path to Federation Square, with the obligatory detour to do a lap or two of the Hawthorn velodrome. We then returned through quiet streets in Toorak, Armadale and Malvern to David's old Scout Hall in East Malvern.
At the Scout Hall, we had a barbeque and released orange balloons in David's memory.
A video of the 2007 Ride (5m 43s) can be viewed here.
